I have many fond memories from high school to MTB races to college and beyond kicking around a hacky sack and so when I saw Queen City was making one I got giddy. I already own a pair of the Tectonic Rambler boots they had made and was impressed at the quality as well as attention to detail. So yeah, while this wasn’t inexpensive I knew I wanted to support this effort and curious as to what it was like.
It was worth it. I’m quite impressed at the quality of the materials to the craftsmanship. It’s a fine reminder that sometimes it’s worth paying extra to support masters of their craft. Thank you guys for making this. It’s gonna get a bit of use I’m sure.

These are great. Attractive, thoughtful design and super well-made (here in Vermont!) from quality materials. They were a big splurge for me but I am glad I did it, it is a joy to have goods you use every day that are made locally and made for the long haul. These are going to be with me for many, many years.
I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 depending on brand and got the 12 per the size chart, this worked out well for me. I would not want to walk miles in them as there is space, but for house shoes it is perfect; they stay on well enough with my usual wool socks and I can get them on with little effort.
The do it all boot! These were the quickest break in for a leather boot I’ve ever experienced. The size chart and info on queen city’s site was super helpful too. I have been wearing them for a few weeks now. Riding around 200 miles, working in a retail shop on my feet all day, and more…they have not disappointed!

I love that these are made in the USA. The longer I wear these shoes, the more comfortable they are. I also feel that these support my feet.
