Vermont House Shoes®: Pre-Soled

I recently bought a replacement pair of insoles for the Vermont House Shoes. The first set of insoles wore out after one year of daily use. They are very comfortable and make my House Shoes, excellent as they are, even better. I highly recommend Queen City House Shoes for their quality and comfort.

Oh my God I love these shoes. They had a short break-in period, about 1 week. They look SO good. I love the mango color and they are so versatile. Comfortable, great for long walks, dry quickly. Going to check out the high tops next.

This bag is perfect—beautiful craftsmanship, high quality leather (that feels soft, but durable, and smells so good!), and is comfortable to wear. I love that zipper closure and that it has a couple pockets in the interior, so that I don’t lose my keys. I couldn’t be happier, it’s exactly what I was looking for.

Nice feel. Good quality sewing.

I have many fond memories from high school to MTB races to college and beyond kicking around a hacky sack and so when I saw Queen City was making one I got giddy. I already own a pair of the Tectonic Rambler boots they had made and was impressed at the quality as well as attention to detail. So yeah, while this wasn’t inexpensive I knew I wanted to support this effort and curious as to what it was like.

It was worth it. I’m quite impressed at the quality of the materials to the craftsmanship. It’s a fine reminder that sometimes it’s worth paying extra to support masters of their craft. Thank you guys for making this. It’s gonna get a bit of use I’m sure.

These are great. Attractive, thoughtful design and super well-made (here in Vermont!) from quality materials. They were a big splurge for me but I am glad I did it, it is a joy to have goods you use every day that are made locally and made for the long haul. These are going to be with me for many, many years.

I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 depending on brand and got the 12 per the size chart, this worked out well for me. I would not want to walk miles in them as there is space, but for house shoes it is perfect; they stay on well enough with my usual wool socks and I can get them on with little effort.

The do it all boot! These were the quickest break in for a leather boot I’ve ever experienced. The size chart and info on queen city’s site was super helpful too. I have been wearing them for a few weeks now. Riding around 200 miles, working in a retail shop on my feet all day, and more…they have not disappointed!

I love that these are made in the USA. The longer I wear these shoes, the more comfortable they are. I also feel that these support my feet.
